In the wild wild west of Mongolia, between Russia and china, great snow-cap mountains rise to the sky, big white rivers flows quiet like snakes on sand, and crystal turquoise lakes scatter the valleys all around.
In this savage land, that has no mercy for man or beast, temperature can rise up to 40 degrees Celsius in the summer and drop quickly to -40 in the winter.
The nomads, (part of the Kazakh people) live in big round Gers and make their living from grazing sheep and hunting.
In the winter of 2005, there is an idea to make a small expedition to the area. The purpose of the expedition is to make a documentary about the hunting skills of the Kazakh people. During the time, we will once again walk on a frozen river by the name of hovd goll, and go hunt on the mountains with the Kazakh people and their eagles.
